Illinois Woman Arrested for Possessing Syringes, Marijuana and Paraphernalia
Gibson County – Last night at approximately 11:30, Trooper Ross Rafferty was patrolling SR 65 near Owensville when he spotted a vehicle parked just off Base Road west of SR 65. Trooper Rafferty approached the vehicle and identified the female driver as Jessica N. Ford, 23, of Harrisburg, IL. An odor of marijuana was detected inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed an eyeglass case containing three unused syringes and one spoon containing an unknown white residue. A small amount of marijuana was also located inside the vehicle. Ford was arrested and taken to the Gibson County Jail where she is currently being held on bond.

- Possession of Syringes, Class 6 Felony
- Possession of Marijuana under 30 grams, Class B Misdemeanor
- Possession of Paraphernalia, Class A Misdemeanor
