Buena Vista Township Public Works has already begun treatment of roadways. Emergency Management will monitor briefings and conditions. Residents are encouraged to make personal preparations before Friday. Have a supply of non-perishable food and water to last several days for each person, have medications, baby, and pet items, charge phones, radios, and have spare batteries and have a plan for alternate housing in the event of prolonged power outage. Take into account physical health before shoveling or blowing snow which is forecasted to be wet and heavy. Be mindful to check on elderly and neighbors.
