Avoid becoming a victim of auto theft!

The Skokie Police Department reminds you not to leave your vehicle running unattended to warm up and NEVER leave a vehicle running unattended with a child inside. The Skokie Police Department and surrounding communities have been experiencing several vehicle thefts where vehicles are left unattended during the cold weather to warm up. A few of these incidents involved vehicles that were taken with children inside. Always turn your vehicle off, lock your doors, and never leave children unattended when the vehicle is not in use!
