POLICE HAVE CLOSED THE FOLLOWING ROADS DUE TO TIDAL FLOODING; RT. 30 (ABSECON BLVD.) EAST OF HOME DEPOT AND S. SHORE RD. BETWEEN RT. 30 AND ILLINOIS AVE. (DR. RUPPERT DR.) USE ALTERNATE ROUTES OF TRAVEL (EXPRESSWAY, RT. 9, S. MILL RD.) DO NOT MOVE OR PASS CONES/BARRELS/ROAD CLOSED SIGNS. S. MILL RD. AND RT. 9 (S. NEW RD.) ARE OPEN AT THIS TIME. S. SHORE RD. MAY NOT REOPEN AT ALL TODAY. TIDE WATERS ARE RECEDING. HOWEVER, RT. 30 STILL CONTAINS SNOW AND BAY DEBRIS WHICH REQUIRES REMOVAL. UTILIZE CAUTION WHEN DRIVING ON ROADWAYS, BEWARE OF STANDING WATER THAT IS NOT DRAINING. ADDTIONALLY, USE CAUTION SINCE THAT STANDING WATER IS LIKELY TO FREEZE LATER. REPEAT FLOODING AND CLOSURES TO OCCUR AGAIN AT HIGH TIDE AROUND 8:31 PM AND AGAIN TOMORROW MORNING AT 8:46 AM.
