Barnegat Avenue is impassable. Areas of the road are flooded and ice-covered, with debris hidden underneath. Stay off of Barnegat Avenue!
Side streets, such as the 200, 300, and 400 blocks may also have areas of slush and thick ice. Do not attempt to drive through these areas. YOU WILL GET STUCK.
Surf City DPW crews will be out attempting to clear the streets of frozen snow and ice. Give our DPW crews a break and stay off the roads while they work!
Additionally, the next high-tide on the bayside will be at 10:30AM this morning. Flooding is anticipated. Flooding may take hours, if not days, to recede. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS!
