*** UPDATE TO THE SUSPICIOUS BLACK TRUCK ***

Thanks to tips received from readers of our Facebook post, I was able to find the black truck seen in the Circle Point Road/ Hermit Woods Road area on Friday. I was able to talk to the subject on Shute Hill Road and found that he is actually working for Asplundh Tree Service. He is driving a 2016 black Dodge pickup with temporary plates. He was in that area of town on Friday checking the power lines, so made several passes through the area. He is still working in town, so may be seen again.

The Chevy Silverado that was seen this morning was a separate event. The gentleman in the Dodge was not in the area that early.

Thanks to all of you that follow our Nixle Alerts and Facebook posts. This was a perfect example of Sanbornton citizens helping us check out suspicious activity. Remember that if you see something out of place in your neighborhood, let us know. We would rather check a bunch of false alarms than miss something important.
