Van Buren Public Safety accepting bottled water to Help the Flint Community. 
The Van Buren Fire Department is joining other fire departments across the state by collecting bottled water to assist the Flint Community.
Bottled water may be dropped off at the fire department’s headquarters (Station 2), located at 7981 Belleville Road, from 8am until 10pm or at the Public Safety Headquarters, at 46425 Tyler Road, 24 hours a day.
In the event that the firefighters are out of the station the water may be dropped off at the visitor’s entrance located near the fire station’s flag pole.
The fire department will work with other local fire departments and the Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs to get the water to those who need it.
