Kenton-Hardin Health Department has issued a health advisory for City of Kenton.

The Kenton-Hardin Health Department is requiring all restaurants and residents in Kenton municipal water district to adhere to boil advisory protocols, advising all to use bottled/gallon water to use for sanitation and cooking purposes, until further notice.

At this time:

• PROHIBITED:
o Ice Machines (use store bought ice)
o Fountain Pop machines
o Coffee, tea, etc.
o Cooking with municipal water
• PERMITTED:
o prepackaged food and prepackaged drinks
o boiling municipal water for hand washing utensils
o bathing and restrooms

Boil advisory protocols will in place by the City of Kenton for consumption, cooking, and sanitation until further notice.
