At approx 2:00pm this afternoon, officers were dispatched to the area of Brook/Speedway in reference to a stabbing. Stefan Lamiroult, age 20, went to an address in the 2500 blk of Brook to retrieve some items. A disturbance broke out between Lamiroult and the resident of the apartment. During the disturbance, the resident was stabbed one time in the abdomen by Lamiroult. The victim was transported to the hospital by another individual. Lamiroult was arrested for Aggravated Assault Family Violence and taken to jail. The knife was recovered and seized as evidence. At the time of this release, the victim was in surgery.
