Special Weather Statement in effect for Outagamie County, WI thru this evening.

Blowing and drifting snow is causing several reports of cars sliding off the highway in our area. The National Weather Service has issued the following bulletin:

SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS POSSIBLE THIS EVENING ACROSS CENTRAL AND EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...

SOUTHWEST WINDS GUSTING BETWEEN 25 AND 35 MPH WILL CREATE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ACROSS THE AREA THIS EVENING... ESPECIALLY IN OPEN AREAS.

IN ADDITION... THERE WILL BE THE CHANCE FOR FLURRIES OR SNOW SHOWERS... WITH LITTLE TO NO ACCUMULATION... AND FREEZING DRIZZLE... LATER THIS EVENING.

IF TRAVELING THIS EVENING... BE ALERT FOR SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS... AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES.
