On 01/28/2016 just before 8:00 am, wanted registered sex offender 33 year old Levi Gregory Tink of Hudson surrendered himself to the Steuben County Jail without incident following a two day joint fugitive investigation by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshals Service Northern District of Indiana Great Lakes Taskforce. On 01/25/2016 an arrest warrant was issued by the Steuben Circuit Court charging Tink with one count of failure to register as a sex or violent offender, a level 6 felony. Tink was booked into the Steuben County Jail and remains held in lieu of a $3,000.00 cash bond. The Sheriff’s Office was also assisted in the fugitive investigation by the Ashley Police and Hamilton Police. The Sheriff’s Office would also like to thank all those who assisted by providing tips and information.
