Fatal Traffic Collision 
On January 30, 2016 at about 8:19 a.m., the Corona Police Department responded to the 4300 Block of Crown Ranch Road reference a person stuck in a car door. Upon arrival, officers found 49-year-old Juan Maldonado deceased and pinned in the car door of a vehicle that was parked against a wall.
The initial investigation indicates that Maldonado may have been partially in the vehicle when it rolled forward and sideswiped the wall, pinning him between the car door and the door frame.
The Corona Police Department’s Collision Response Team responded and handled the investigation.
