Just a couple friendly reminders...

Please remove snow/ice from your sidewalks so pedestrians can utilize the sidewalks safely. Kids frequently utilize the sidewalks to get to and from school. City code 26-1 requires that sidewalks be cleared of snow/ice within 10 hours of the winter weather event.

Also as a gentle reminder, City code 26-3 prohibits any person from pushing, piling or depositing snow/ice removed from private property onto any public street or the private property of others. Unfortunately, we have had people pushing snow from private property into the public streets. This practice is a violation of city code and complicates snow removal operations.
