On Feb. 3, 2016, at approximately 12:44 a.m., the Corona Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Greenview Ave. in Corona, reference a family member from inside the home calling 9-1-1 to report a domestic violence incident.

Upon arrival, officers confronted an adult male inside the garage armed with a handgun, resulting in an officer involved shooting. The male, a 39-year-old Corona resident was later identified as Keith Bernard Winn. Winn was not injuried and was arrested. The officer involved in the incident is a 17-year veteran and was also uninjured.

Corona Police Detectives and members of the Officer Involved Shooting Team are currently conducting the follow-up investigation.
