Emergency Parking Ban in effect starting at 3:00 AM Friday. Parking prohibited on all public ways. 
The Director of DPS has declared an Emergency Parking Ban in effect starting at 3:00 AM Friday due to expected weather related event.. Parking prohibited on all public ways. Residents of the downtown area may park in city owned municipal lots on Central Street and Mill Street. These vehicles can remain there until two hours after the ban has been rescinded. They then need to be removed so that DPS crews can properly clear those lots. Vehicles in violation of the ban are subject to ticketing and/or towing at owners expense.
