01/22/16 WTPD arrested Brian Whelan, age 46, of Washington, NJ for a $165.00 outstanding warrant out of Hackettstown, NJ. Mr. Whelan was processed was processed and released after posting bail.

01/25/16 WTPD arrested Doulas DeCastro, age 50, of Washington, NJ, for a $700.00 outstanding warrant out of Raritan Borough, NJ. On 01/25/16 at approximately 8:37 PM, patrol was dispatched to the report of subject soliciting rides in the 70 block of W. Washington Ave in Washington Borough. Upon the officer’s arrival he made contact with the Mr. DeCastro, who was found to have an outstanding warrant. He was processed and turned over to the custody of the Raritan Borough PD.

01/27/16 WTPD arrested Christopher Helmer, age 33, of Hackettstown, NJ for a $1000.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. Mr. Helmer was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.

01/29/16 WTPD arrested Misty Fisher, age 29, of Washington, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Pohatcong Township. Ms. Fisher was processed and released after posting bail.

02/01/16 WTPD arrested Carly Thompson, age 18, of Washington NJ, for driving under the influence (DUI). On 02/01/16 at approximately 3:30 PM, officers were dispatched to a minor motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of W. Washington Ave in Washington Borough. The officer’s investigation resulted in the driver’s, Ms. Thompson, arrest for (DUI). She was processed and had a BAC of .20%. Ms. Thompson was charged with DUI and careless driving. She was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

02/02/16 WTPD arrested Cameron Letwinch, age 27, of Washington, NJ for criminal mischief. He was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $250.00 bail.

02/02/16 WTPD arrested Timothy Stepp, age 50, of Easton, Pa. for a $250.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township. On 02/02/16 at approximately 3:45 PM, patrol observed Mr. Stepp, who was known to have an outstanding warrant out of Washington Township, walking on W. Washington Ave in Washington Borough. The officer made contact with Mr. Stepp and confirmed the outstanding warrant. Mr. Stepp was arrested without incident, processed and released with a new court date.
