Saturation Patrol in Pike County Nets Three Impaired Drivers
Pike – Between 10:00 Friday night and 4:00 Saturday morning, Indiana State Police and Pike County Sheriff’s Department conducted a saturation patrol targeting impaired and dangerous drivers. Officers arrested three impaired drivers during the six-hour period. One of the impaired drivers, Steven Bartlett, 33, of Bloomington, was found sleeping while parked in the passing lane on I-69 near the 50 mile-marker. All three drivers were arrested and taken to the Pike County Jail.
