A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 6 am Monday to 6 am for snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches.

Snow begins from south to north Monday morning and continues into Monday night. Some light snow could linger into Tuesday but much of the accumulation will be over by Tuesday morning.

Roads will become snow covered and slippery, strong winds will cause blowing and drifting snow and could lead to low visibility in spots. Winds from the northeast from 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 25 mph, temperatures in the teens and low 20s.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, use caution while driving, give yourself extra time to travel and extend your travel distance between vehicles.
