*Update-ISP Investigating Possible Stolen Vehicle Crash on I-465-Update*
Indianapolis, IN- The continuing investigation over the weekend of the two vehicle crash on I-465 NB at the 18.5 mm has resulted in additional criminal charges. This morning Trooper Corey Berfield met with the Marion County Prosecutors Office and an additional misdemeanor drug charge was filed against Andre Andrews and two felony criminal recklessness charges for Pablo Rodriguez.
During the course of the investigation investigators located a glass jar containing individually wrapped plant material believed to be marijuana across the concrete barrier from the crash scene. Andrews allegedly removed the glass jar from the vehicle he was operating and disregarded it over the concrete barrier wall when he exited the vehicle.
Two charges of criminal recklessness were filed against Rodriguez. A charge of criminal recklessness with a firearm and criminal recklessness with a motor vehicle, both level 6 felonies.
This is an ongoing investigation and troopers are working with IMPD investigators to determine the actions that lead up the chase and crash.

Indianapolis, IN- Indiana State Police troopers are investigating a sighting of a possible stolen vehicle that began on 38th Street and ended with a crash on I-465.
Very preliminary information gained thus far by investigators has revealed that at approximately 2:00 p.m. this afternoon a male subject observed his uncles car, which had been reported stolen on February 3rd, near 38th Street and Moeller Road.
The male subject followed the car onto I-465 NB to the 18.5 mm then intentionally crashed into the car disabling both vehicles. The man, identified as Pablo Rodriguez, 28, of Indianapolis, than held the driver of the stolen car at gunpoint until law enforcement arrived.
The driver of the stolen car has been identified as Andre Edwards, 21, of Indianapolis. Edwards has an outstanding Level 3 Felony Marion County warrant for Armed and Dangerous Robbery and a second outstanding warrant from the state of Georgia for Aggravated Assault.
It is unclear at this time if any shots were fired during the altercation. The investigation is continuing.
No further information is available at this time. Further information will be release when it is obtained.
Both Rodriguez and Edwards were transported to Eskenazi Hospital to be examined.
