Due to ocean over wash, sand and debris, portions of NC 12 in Kitty Hawk are nearly impassable. This morning vehicles trying to drive in the area have become stuck especially between Historic and Byrd as well as Sibbern and Helga Streets. Please avoid the area at all costs. Thank you!
