*UPDATE* I-74 Westbound Near 132 MM is Now Back Open After Earlier Crashes
Decatur County-I-74 westbound near the 132 mile marker is now back open after the Indiana State Police and Decatur County Sheriff's Departments responded to multiple crashes involving numerous vehicles between the 127 and 132 mile markers at approximately 4:00 p.m. this afternoon.
Initial information indicates that troopers investigated five different crashes involving between 30 to 40 vehicles. No life threatening injuries were reported. The westbound lanes of I-74 were closed between the 132 and 123 mile markers for approximately four hours.
The investigation is ongoing.
The Indiana State Police was assisted by the Decatur County Sheriff's Department, Greensburg Police Department, Decatur County EMS, and numerous wrecker services.

Decatur County-The Indiana State Police is on the scene of crashes involving numerous vehicles on I-74 near the 127 and 132 mile markers between Greensburg and Shelbyville.
At least one of the crashes did involve some injuries. I-74 westbound is now shut down at exit 132. Drivers traveling westbound on I-74 are encouraged to seek an alternate route. It is unknown how long the roadway will be closed.
