02/02/16 WTPD arrested Cameron Letwinch, age 27, of Washington, NJ for unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person. He was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $10,000.00 bail.

02/04/16 WTPD arrested John Tiger, age 46, of Washington, NJ, for outstanding warrants totaling $1081.00 out of Greenwich Township. On 02/04/16 at approximately 9:45 AM, patrol responded to Philberts Pub in the 100 block of W. Washington Ave in Washington Borough to check on the welfare of a person. Upon the officer’s arrival he made contact with the Mr. Tiger, whose welfare was fine, but he was found to have outstanding warrants. Mr. Tiger was processed and turned over to the custody of the Greenwich Township PD.

02/05/16 WTPD arrested Jerome Brown, age 60, of Allentown, PA for credit card theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, forgery, wrongful impersonation and theft. Mr. Brown’s charges stem from a 12/28/15 investigation to a purse theft, which had occurred at the Tip Top Cleaners, in the 200 block of W. Washington Ave in Washington Borough. The investigation resulted in Mr. Brown being charged with credit card theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, forgery, wrongful impersonation and theft. He was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $5000.00 bail.

02/05/16 WTPD arrested Brent Howell, age 31, of Belvidere, NJ for a $685 outstanding warrant out of Roxbury Township, possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia. On 02/05/16 at approximately 4:43 AM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 31 S. in Washington Township for driving on a suspended license. Upon further investigation the officer found Mr. Howell had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was also found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Howell was processed, issued motor vehicle summonses for disregard of a traffic control device, driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance. Mr. Howell was released with a mandatory court appearance.

02/06/16 WTPD arrested Darren Ader, age 19, of Oxford, NJ for possession of CDS (marijuana) less than 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. On 02/06/16 at approximately 12:31PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Wall St. in Oxford Township for equipment violations. Upon further investigation, Mr. Ader was found to be in possession of CDS (marijuana) less than 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and a sword. Mr. Ader was processed and issued motor vehicle summons for unclear license plates, tinted windows and possession of CDS (marijuana) in a motor vehicle. He was released with a mandatory court date.

02/07/16 WTPD arrested John Teague, age 35, of Newton, NJ for a $1000.00 outstanding warrant out of Green Township, NJ. Mr. Teague was processed and released after posting bail.

02/07/16 WTPD arrested Angelo Fieno, age 53, of Port Murray, NJ for a $1000.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township. Mr.
Fieno was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.

02/07/16 WTPD arrested Bryan Daken, age 23, of Washington, NJ, for a $200.00 outstanding warrant out of Newark, NJ. On 02/07/16 at approximately 9:20 PM, patrol responded to Philberts Pub in the 100 block of W. Washington Ave in Washington Borough for a physical dispute. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that one of the involved parties, Mr. Daken, had an outstanding warrant. Mr. Daken was processed and released with a new court date.

02/08/16 WTPD arrested Del Orallo, age 43, of Hackettstown, NJ, for a $57.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township, NJ (Morris County). On 02/08/16 at approximately 7:26 PM, patrol was dispatched to the report of an erratic motor vehicle on E. Asbury Anderson Rd. in Washington Township. Upon the officer’s arrival in the area, he located a vehicle matching the description and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Upon subsequent investigation, it was revealed that the operator Mr. Orallo, had an outstanding warrant. He was processed and released after posting bail.

02/08/16 WTPD arrested Amy Battise, age 38, of Washington, NJ, for obstruction of the administration of justice, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 02/08/16 at approximately 11:27 PM, patrol was dispatched to a reported dispute in the 60 block of Railroad Ave in Washington Borough. Upon the officer’s arrival, the Washington Emergency Squad was dispatched for one subject with a minor injury. During this time, Ms. Battise interfered with emergency personnel, and failed to follow the officer’s instructions. Upon being placed under arrest Mr. Battise resisted the officer. She was arrested, processed and released with a mandatory court appearance.

02/09/16 WTPD arrested Anthony Montana, age 37, of Belvidere, NJ for simple assault and harassment. Mr. Montana was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $500.00 bail.

02/09/16 WTPD arrested Tamara Standford, age 36, of High Bridge, NJ, for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township, NJ (Morris County). On 02/09/16 at approximately 10:35 PM, patrol was dispatched to assist a juvenile in need of a ride at the Warren County Community College, 475 Rte. 57 W. in Washington Township. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Ms. Standford, who responded to pick up the juvenile, was found to have an outstanding warrant. She was processed and released after posting bail.

02/09/16 WTPD arrested Nicholas Merlot, age 24, of Phillipsburg, NJ for possession of CDS (cocaine), possession of CDS (marijuana) less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. On 02/09/16 at approximately 11:35PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on E. Washington Ave in Washington Borough for failure to obey a traffic control device. Upon further investigation, Mr. Merlot was found to be in possession of CDS (cocaine), in possession of CDS (marijuana) less than 50 grams and in possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Merlot was processed; issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to obey a traffic control device and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. He was lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $3,500.00 bail.

02/11/16 WTPD arrested Elizabeth Ryan, age 28, of Oxford, NJ for a $250.00 outstanding warrant out of Fairfield, NJ. Ms. Ryan was processed and released after posting bail.

02/12/16 WTPD arrested Steven Brengel, age 26, of Easton, PA. for an $89.00 outstanding warrant out of Greenwich Township, NJ. On 02/12/16 at approximately 11:44 PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on W. Washington Ave in Washington Borough. The officer’s investigation revealed that the operator, Mr. Brengel, had an outstanding warrant. He was processed and issued motor vehicle summonses for an unregistered motor vehicle and for operating a motor vehicle without a license. He was released with a new court date.

02/15/16 WTPD arrested Daishawn Mewborn, age 26, of Trenton, NJ for a $3,500.00 outstanding warrant out of Trenton, NJ. On 02/15/16 at approximately 11:10 AM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 31 S. in Washington Borough. The officer’s investigation revealed that the operator, Mr. Mewborn, had an outstanding warrant. He was processed, issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while suspended and for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released with a new court date.
