The Downey Police Department Neighborhood Watch Program is hosting its 4th Annual Neighborhood Watch Block Captain Meeting on Wednesday, March 16th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Barbara J. Riley Center, located at 7810 Quill Drive, Downey, CA 90242.
Downey’s Emergency Manager, Andrew Stevens, will introduce the “5 Step Neighborhood Preparedness Program.” Block Captains will learn how to use this outreach program to effectively organize and prepare their neighborhoods for emergency incidents and disasters.
Following the presentation Block Captains will have an opportunity to discuss specific concerns related to their neighborhoods.
