Daycare Operator Arrested 
On February 5, 2016, the Lewisville Police began investigating the death of a child at a home daycare in the 1600 block of Niagara Blvd. The investigation into the death of this child is still on-going.
During the course of the investigation it was determined that the Daycare owner was operating a child care facility without a license. Detectives obtained a warrant this week for Operating Child Care Facility Without a License (Class B misdemeanor.) The daycare owner, Druscilla Bowie turned herself in to detectives and was booked into the Lewisville Jail yesterday the 17th at 3:30 p.m.
Bowie was arraigned and her bond set at $30,000. She was transferred to the Denton County Sheriff’s jail last night.
