Wednesday night...
The National Weather Service in Wilmington OH has issued a
* Flood Watch for portions of Indiana... including the following areas... in Indiana... Dearborn... Franklin... Ohio... Ripley and Switzerland.
* From 1 AM EST Wednesday through late Wednesday night
* A strengthening low pressure system will lift out of the Gulf
Coast states and into the upper Ohio Valley tonight into
Wednesday. As it does... widespread rain will overspread the
region tonight... continuing into the day on Wednesday. A few
thunderstorms will also be possible late Wednesday morning into
Wednesday afternoon. Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2 inches can be
expected with locally higher amounts possible.
* Soils are wet from recent rainfall. The additional rainfall may
result in flooding of low lying areas and creeks and streams.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
