Indiana State Police Makes another Case/Arrest of an Alleged Drug Dealer in Scott County

Scott County-On January 28th, troopers from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg along with federal agents from the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and Scott County Deputies executed a search warrant at 3776 East Plymouth Road, (Scottsburg Mailing Address in rural Scott County). The search warrant was the result of an investigation conducted by troopers of alleged drug dealing taking place at the residence. During the search warrant officers located approximately twenty-eight pounds of Marijuana in an outbuilding near the residence.

On yesterday’s date, an arrest warrant was issued out of the Scott County Circuit Court for Steven D. Sipe, 37, from 3776 East Plymouth Road, Scottsburg. Steven Sipe turned himself into the Scott County Jail yesterday evening. He was charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Dealing in Marijuana over Ten Pounds and being a Habitual Offender.

The approximate street value of the seized Marijuana is $50,000.00 U. S. Currency.
