Areas in the eastern and southeastern section of the city are experiencing power outages due to high winds and a power line failure on S. Sixth Street. Georgia Power is aware of the power outages. There is not currently a time estimate from Georgia Power on when to expect all service to be restored.
Due to the high wind advisory in effect until 1:00 am Thursday morning, it is possible that additional power outages may occur. If so, please notify your power company.
