* AT 1142 PM EST...DOPPLER RADAR AND AUTOMATED RAIN GAUGES INDICATED WIDESPREAD RAINFALL OF BETWEEN 0.50 AND 1.50 INCHES HAS OCCURRED ACROSS THE WARNING AREA. MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA THROUGH 200 AM WITH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF UP TO 1 INCH POSSIBLE. THIS ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL LIKELY CAUSE SCATTERED FLOODING OF SMALLER CREEKS AND STREAMS, AND POTENTIAL MINOR FLOODING OF A FEW MAINSTEM RIVERS. THESE WOULD INCLUDE THE AUSABLE, MISSISQUOI, THE WINOOSKI, THE MAD AND THE OTTER CREEK.
