Perrysville (Vermillion County) - Earlier this week, members of the Indiana State Police District 33 ACES (Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Section) executed an arrest warrant on Craig R. Grimes, 36 of Kokomo. Although Grimes was located in Vermillion County, the warrant was issued out of Monroe County Indiana for Dealing Methamphetamine, a Level 2 Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 4 Felony, Possession of a Narcotic Drug, a Level 5 Felony, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, a Level 6 Felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Level 6 Felony and Possession of Paraphernalia a Class C Misdemeanor.
The warrant was issued after a traffic stop and investigation by ACES Troopers Chris Griggs, Allen Deel and K9 Drogos on January 16, 2016.
When Troopers located Grimes in Vermillion County he was again found to be in possession of Methamphetamine, Liquid Methadone and Paraphernalia. Grimes was booked into the Vermillion County jail for the Monroe County Warrant and local charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 6 Felony, Possession of a Narcotic Drug, a Level 6 Felony, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, a Level 6 Felony and Possession of Paraphernalia a Class C Misdemeanor.
