02/16/16 WTPD arrested Christopher Marrero, age 18 and Luke Gelba, age 19, both of Washington NJ. On 02/16/16 at approximately 11:54 PM, patrol was conducting a property check of the Roaring Rock Park in Washington Township and located a suspicious vehicle occupied by Mr. Marrero and Mr. Gelba. The officer’s investigation resulted in Mr. Marrero being charged with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance for entering/remaining in the park after hours, possession of CDS (marijuana) less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Gelba was charged with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance for entering/remaining in the park after hours. Both were processed and released with a court dates.
02/17/16 WTPD arrested David Simmons Jr., age 33, of Washington, NJ, for outstanding warrants totaling $16, 050.00 out of Washington Borough and Newark. On 02/17/16 at approximately 9:39 PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Cleveland St. in Washington Borough. . The officer’s investigation revealed that an occupant of the vehicle, Mr. Simmons, had outstanding warrants. Mr. Simmons was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.
02/18/16 WTPD arrested Mark Berry, age 39, of E. Stroudsburg, PA for contempt of a court order. Mr. Berry was processed and released with a mandatory court date.
02/20/16 WTPD arrested David Best, age 57, of Washington, NJ, for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 02/20/16 at approximately 2:33 PM, patrol was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Warren St. in Washington Borough for an unwanted person. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Best had knocked on the widow of a residence and later attempted to enter the residence. Mr. Best was processed and released with a court date.
02/20/16 WTPD arrested Curtis Collver Jr., age 31, of Sussex, NJ for possession of CDS (marijuana) less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. On 02/20/16 at approximately 10:19 PM, patrol checked on a suspicious person behind the Quick Chek, 30 Belvidere Ave, in Washington Borough. Upon further investigation, Mr. Collver was found to be in possession of CDS (marijuana) less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Collver was processed and released with a mandatory court date.
02/21/16 WTPD arrested Ronald Hennig, age 21, of Belvidere, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township. Mr. Hennig was processed and released after posting bail.
02/23/16 WTPD arrested Thomas Reissmann, age 31, of Washington, NJ for disorderly conduct, theft of services, a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance and driving under the influence (DUI). On 02/23/16 at approximately 3:03 PM, patrol was dispatched to a report of a disorderly male at the Draught House, 268 Rte. 31 N. in Washington Township. Upon patrol’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Russimann had ordered food and left without paying. Mr. Reissmann then proceeded to drive around the parking lot and struck a stone wall before returning to the restaurant to fight with employees. He was processed and charged with disorderly conduct, theft of services, a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance, driving under the influence (DUI), refusal to submit to a breath test, open container of an alcoholic beverage, careless driving, failure to exhibit documents and failure to report a motor vehicle accident. Mr. Ressimann was processed and released with a mandatory court date.
02/23/16 WTPD arrested Heather Flanders, age 30, of Belvidere, NJ for possession of CDS (marijuana) less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. On 02/23/16 at approximately 4:59PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 31 S. in Washington Township. Upon further investigation, Ms. Flanders was found to be in possession of CDS (marijuana) less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Flanders was processed and issued motor vehicle summons for careless driving, unlicensed driver, driving with a suspended license and possession of CDS (marijuana) in a motor vehicle. She was released with a mandatory court date.
