SCAM AWARENESS
We have been receiving calls about scam in the area. Please be aware that there are phone calls being made to ask for bail for a relative or loved one who were supposedly arrested. These are scams. If you have any question that it might be real then you should verify it with the Police Department that the person was allegedly arrested at.
Phone calls from the IRS requesting money are also false. The IRS will not call you. Do not send money.
The bottom line is “If it sounds too good to be true it probably is”.
