Homicide Investigation 
On February 26, 2016, at approximately 8:44 p.m., the Corona Police Department responded to City Park, located at 930 E. Sixth St., Corona, reference an assault. Upon arrival, officers located a male adult, later identified as 18-year-old Corona Resident Barnabas William Crites, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Crites was transported to Riverside Community Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
