Arrest: 24 year old male, resident of Sunnyvale
Charges: Carrying a concealed dagger
Officers conducted an enforcement stop and determined that the passenger had a sheathed hatchet concealed on his person. He was detained without incident, cited and released.

400-blk. N. Santa Cruz
Arrest: 38 year old female, resident of Boulder Creek; 32 year old male, resident of Scotts Valley
Charges: Possession of a controlled substance, false identification
Officers contacted the occupants of a suspicious vehicle. The female could not produce identification and attempted to use her sister’s identifying information. Her true identity was uncovered, and officers confirmed that she had two outstanding warrants for her arrest. The male occupant was also found to have two active warrants. Upon search, officers located heroin and drug paraphernalia on the female’s person. She was transported to Main Jail. The male was cited and released.

Officers responded to a non-injury collision. The driver accidentally hit the accelerator and backed his vehicle into a building.

Arrest: 28 year old male, resident of New Orleans
Charges: Town code violations (soliciting)
Officers responded to a reported suspicious person that was soliciting. Upon contact, the officers determined the subject had an active warrant. He was cited and released.

Arrest: 29 year old male, resident of Santa Cruz; 26 year old male, resident of Santa Cruz
Charges: Possession of stolen property
Officers working burglary suppression conducted an enforcement stop and determined the driver to be driving on a suspended license. A search of the vehicle yielded hypodermic needles, stolen property, stolen mail, and a meth pipe. Both parties were cited and released.

Towne Terrace/University
Arrest: 40 year old male, resident of Tracy; 39 year old female, resident of Stockton
Charges: Possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, identity theft
Officers encountered a suspicious vehicle. After attempting some evasive maneuvers, the vehicle was pulled over. Officers determined that one of the occupants was on searchable probation and had an active warrant for his arrest. The female was searched and found to be in possession of methamphetamine. A search of the vehicle and surrounding areas yielded a large amount (400 pieces) of stolen mail from the Ben Lomond/Felton area. Both were transported to Main Jail.

Arrest: 22 year old male, resident of Monte Sereno
Charges: Drunk in public
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male. The subject was located in the rear of the newspaper delivery van, passed out on the piles of newspapers. He displayed the objective signs of alcohol intoxication and was transported to Main Jail.
