On February 26, 2016, the Upland Police Department received information regarding a heavy smell of marijuana coming from an industrial complex in the 1300 block W. 9th St.
Members of the Upland/Ontario Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant, located a sophisticated indoor cultivation operation, and seized about 2,800 marijuana plants.
Vincent Nguyen, 35, of San Diego, was booked for cultivation of marijuana and possession for sales of marijuana. The investigation is continuing.
