On 3-2-16, at approximately 0350 hours, the pictured suspect entered the 7-Eleven located at the corner of Mission Boulevard and Monte Vista Avenue in the City of Montclair. The suspect approached the register and asked the clerk for a pack of cigarettes. After the clerk retrieved the cigarettes, the suspect exposed his waist band, revealing a black handgun tucked into the belt of his pants. The suspect threatened to kill the clerk if he did not hand over all the money in the register. The clerk feared for his life and complied with the suspect’s demands.

The suspect stole cash and a box of cigarettes and exited the store. The suspect entered the passenger side of a white Toyota Sienna or similar minivan which was occupied by an unknown driver. The van fled the area, and was last seen headed westbound on Mission Boulevard toward Pomona.

The attached photograph of the suspect was taken by security cameras during the robbery.
