US 35 is closed in Wayne County between Jacksonburg Rd. and Hadley Rd., in northern Wayne County, for a semi that has crashed into a house. While there are no injuries, the road is expected to remain closed for some time as crews work to remove the truck and debris from the roadway.

North bound traffic on US 35 from Richmond is being diverted onto west bound SR38 to SR1, and south bound traffic north of the scene is being diverted onto SR1 south to SR 38. Motorists should avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
