Oakland County Homeland Security Division will be conducting tests of the Outdoor Warning System this Saturday, March 5th, at 1:00p.m.
In an effort to promote severe weather safety preparedness, the Oakland County Homeland Security Division will be conducting tests of the Outdoor Warning System, beginning this Saturday, March 5th, at 1:00p.m. The tests will occur on the first Saturday of each month, beginning in March, and will continue through the end of November. Please do not be alarmed by these tests. A special test will occur on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 1:00p.m., in recognition of Severe Weather Awareness Week. The purpose of this test is to raise the awareness level of citizens and offer schools and businesses an opportunity to test their internal disaster plans during normal business hours.
