Press Release from the Winooski Police Department re: Downtown Winooski Emergecny 
The following is an official press release from the Winooski Police Department regarding today’s emergency in the Downtown Winooski Rotary:
The Winooski Police Department received information which led to the discovery of a clandestine lab on Main St. After initial investigation it was determined there were items present which indicated the presence of a functional clandestine lab. The immediate area was evacuated due to safety concerns. Members of the State of Vermont clandestine lab team with the assistance from the State of Vermont Hazardous Materials Unit determined there was no danger to the community. A decontamination of the apartment is underway and will continue into the evening. Further information will be available tomorrow at 1100. For more information, contact LT.
