Navarro River At Navarro affecting Mendocino County Steady rain will cause a rapid and significant rise on the Navarro River resulting in flooding Friday through Saturday. Additional rainfall accumulation amounts are forecast to range from 2 to 4 inches across the Navarro River Basin for tonight through Friday. THE FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR THE Navarro River At Navarro.

* AT 1:15 PM Thursday the stage was 14.9 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* This river is expected to rise above flood stage of 23 feet late Friday morning. Then forecast to crest near 36.5 feet Friday evening. Then forecast to fall below flood stage early Saturday morning. Then forecast to recede to near 15 feet Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet...Significant flooding and damage of houses and property along the river approximately 1 mile east of Highway 1 will occur. Expect complete closure of Highway 128. &&
