Flood Warning until 08:00AM Saturday

...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in California... Navarro River At Navarro affecting Mendocino County Steady rain will cause a rapid and significant rise on the Navarro River resulting in flooding Friday through Saturday. Additional rainfall accumulation amounts are forecast to range from 2 to 4 inches across the Navarro River Basin for late tonight through Friday. The flood warning continues for THE Navarro River At Navarro.

* from Friday morning to Saturday morning...OR UNTIL THE WARNING IS CANCELLED.

* AT 8:15 PM Thursday THE stage WAS 17.4 feet.

* Major flooding is expected.

* FLOOD STAGE IS 23.0 feet.

* This river is Expected to rise above flood stage of 23.0 FT late tomorrow morning then forecast to crest near 34.5 FT tomorrow evening then forecast to fall below flood stage of 23.0 FT early Saturday morning then forecast to recede to near 15.0 FT Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet...Significant flooding and damage of houses and property along the river approximately 1 mile east of Highway 1 will occur. Expect complete closure of Highway 128. &&

* AFFECTED AREAS: MENDOCINO
