Seeking Public’s Help in Identifying Armed Robbers
The Arlington Police Department received a 9-1-1 call on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 around 7:53 p.m. that reported a possible armed robbery in progress at a local mobile telephone store in the 4200 block of W. Green Oaks Blvd. As officers began to respond to the location, a second 9-1-1 call came in from the store reporting that they had just been robbed by two individuals with guns. Detectives believe that at least two suspects entered the location with handguns and stole several items of merchandise from the store. A couple of personal items were also taken from employees and one employee was injured during the robbery after being pushed by one of the suspects.
All of the employees were initially ordered onto the floor and then taken to a back room. The first suspect was described as a black male in his late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5’11” -6’00” tall, medium build, and last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, black shoes, and purple medical gloves. The second suspect was described as a black male in his late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5’07”-5’09” tall, thin build, and last seen wearing black Nike sweatpants, black hooded sweatshirt, dark shoes, and purple medical gloves.
