Flood Warning until 09:56AM Monday

...The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a FLOOD WARNING in cooperation with the California Department of Water Resources for the following rivers in California... Navarro River At Navarro affecting Mendocino County Light to moderate rain today will result in flooding on the Navarro River around 2:00 PM today. 1 to 2 inches of rain is forecast through Sunday evening. The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a

* Flood Warning for The Navarro River At Navarro.

* from this afternoon to Monday morning...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 8:15 AM Sunday the stage was 16.7 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

* This river is expected to rise above flood stage around 2:00 PM today. Then forecast to crest near 30.0 FT around 11:00 PM tonight. Then forecast to fall below flood stage early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet...Water will flow over the banks of the river approximately 1 mile east of Highway 128, and will begin to flood property in this area including several homes. Expect complete closure of Highway 128.

* FLOOD HISTORY...This crest compares to a previous crest of 29.5 feet on Feb 7 2015. &&

* AFFECTED AREAS: MENDOCINO
