2/29/2016 1601 hours
Pollard/W. Parr
Arrest: 48 year old male, transient
Charges: Drunk in public, possession of stolen property, mail theft
Officers responded to a welfare check of a subject that appeared to have suffered an injury. Upon contact, the officers determined that the subject was intoxicated and had possibly been involved in an altercation at a homeless encampment. He was found to be in possession of stolen mail and stolen insurance cards. The subject was transported to a local hospital for treatment and cited.

Officers located property (hospital scrubs, empty whippets, and mail). The property was booked into the Evidence Room.

Highway 9/University
Arrest: 49 year old male, resident of Santa Cruz
Charges: Active warrants
Officers conducted an enforcement stop and determined the driver was wanted on active warrants.

3/1/2016 2124 hours
200-blk Longridge
Officers responded to a reported residential burglary. Access was made by a rear sliding door glass smash. Video surveillance captured the incident and follow-up is being conducted.

3/2/2016 1022 hours
400-blk San Benito
Officers responded to an interrupted residential burglary. The resident heard a noise, observed a subject cut a window screen, and attempt entry into the home. Upon further investigation, it was determined that there were two suspects, and one of the suspects had made entry. Follow-up is being conducted.

3/2/2016 1244 hours
600-blk University
Officers responded to a reported stolen vehicle. The reporting party had observed two suspicious subjects near the vehicle prior to its theft. Officers identified both subjects as juveniles. Upon further investigation by the School Resource Officer, the vehicle was recovered.

200-blk Winchester
Arrest: 26 year old male, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: Possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
Officers conducted an enforcement stop and search of a vehicle. The driver had been cited and released by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office approximately 7 hours prior on similar charges. A search yielded heroin, a scale, and other paraphernalia. He was again cited and released.

3/3/2016 1203 hours
Winchester/Lark
Arrest: 35 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of controlled substance
Officers conducted an enforcement stop and determined the driver to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was cited and released.

3/4/2016 0228 hours
15000-blk Union
Officers contacted a subject and began to conduct a DUI investigation. Ultimately, officers realized that the subject was having a medical incident and were able to ensure that the subject’s condition was corrected.

3/4/2016 1247 hours
Union/Blossom Hill
Officers were flagged down regarding a hit and run that had just occurred. While obtaining preliminary information, another accident was reported in the area. Officers responded to the secondary location and located the driver involved in both accidents. It was determined that the driver had suffered from a medical event. He was transported to a local hospital for care.

15500-blk Los Gatos Boulevard
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious subject wearing only a trench coat. The subject was determined to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was transported to a medical facility for evaluation.

3/5/2016 1223 hours
200-blk Belgatos
Arrest: male juvenile, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: possession of marijuana, resisting arrest
Officers responded to a report of juvenile drug activity . One involved juvenile took off running, was pursued, and detained. He was cited and released.
