Dope Arrest on Interstate 65
Jackson County-Yesterday shortly after 4:00 pm, Trooper Randel Miller stopped a 1988 Oldsmobile south bound on Interstate 65 at the 51 Mile Marker, near Seymour, for a traffic infraction. After speaking to the occupants of the vehicle Randel Miller decided to deploy his K-9 “Jinx”. While walking around the exterior of the Oldsmobile “Jinx” alerted to the positive presence of the odor of drugs.
A search of the vehicle resulted in an estimated .5 gram of Crack Cocaine and 60 grams of Marijuana being seized. Trevone Deon Sneed, 19, from Hanover, IN, was arrested without incident.
Trevone Deon Sneed was incarcerated at the Jackson County Jail on the charges of Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Paraphernalia and Operator Never Licensed.
