PUBLIC NOTICE

The following roads and trails will be closed for the Levitation 49 Chugach Fat Bike Festival:

Fat Bike Consortium
Road Closure: North Harbor Drive will be closed to traffic from 9:00-10:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18th.

Fat Bike Cross Country Race
Road Closures: From 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19th, one lane of Hazelet Drive from the City Dock to Egan Drive and the southern lane of Egan Drive from Hazelet Drive to Shoup Bay Trail Head will be closed to traffic. Additionally, flaggers will be in place to direct traffic where the race crosses road intersections.

Trail Closures: The Mineral Creek West Dike Trails, Snow Machine Loop, and Mineral Creek Road will be closed to motorized recreational use from 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18th until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19th.

Trail Closures: Shoup Trail, Homestead Trail, the Mineral Creek East & West Dike Trails, Snow Machine Loop, Mineral Creek Road, and the Meadow/Skyline Trail System will be closed to ALL recreational use from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19th.
