WHPD initiated a Code Red while assisting DMPD with an armed robbery that occurred at Merle Hay and Franklin Ave.

Early reports indicated fleeing suspects in the WH area. As a result we initiated an alert to notify you of the previous situation. Other reports indicated the possibility of the suspects in other parts of DSM. Officers spoke with several residents in the area and at this time DMPD is continuing with their investigation.
