Full Notification

Last night at 7pm, a resident of Westbury Drive located on the west side of  Saratoga Springs called to report a black bear in their backyard. The caller observed that the bear did not appear to be aggressive and was eating from a bird feeder. 

ENCON was notified but, upon arrival, advised that the black bear was gone twenty minutes later when they arrived.  ENCON advises that residents in and around Westbury Drive take down their bird feeders at this time.
