Advisory

Suspicious Situation - Possible attempt abduction

A citizen reported that within the last few weeks, a suspicious individual approached their residence in the 36000 block of Violet. There was a delay in the initial reporting of this incident, the exact date is not known.

An 11-year-old juvenile reported to her parent that within the last few weeks, a white male, approximately 6’0” wearing black overalls, dark green t-shirt, navy blue jacket, and a black mask that covered his face, approached her residence.

The 11-year-old, who was home alone, stated that the male knocked on the front door to their residence. The juvenile stated that the man asked for a person by a name that does not live at the residence. The man then asked the juvenile her name and she told him a fake name. According to the juvenile, the man then stated that he knew her (fake name) and tried opening the door and coming into the residence. The juvenile stated that she was able to shut and lock the door and the man was not able to gain entry.

The juvenile believes that the man was driving a dark blue passenger vehicle, but is unable to provide further suspect vehicle information.

This is the only reported incident; we have not received any other reports.
