Creek Trail/S. Main
Arrest: 60 year old male, transient
Charges: Warrant
Officers responded to check the welfare of a subject lying on the creek trail. Upon contact, it was determined the subject had active warrants for his arrest. He was cited and released.

Highway 9/Highway 17
Arrest: 49 year old male, resident of Capitola
Charges: Possession of heroin, possession of paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, false registration tabs
Officers conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle displaying false registration tabs. It was determined that the driver was on probation and was in possession of a small amount of heroin. He was cited and released.

14500-blk Oka Rd.
Arrest: 32 year old male, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: Burglary, attempted burglary, vandalism, under the influence of a controlled substance
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious subject trespassing on the property. They located a subject behind the security fence and determined that he was under the influence of a controlled substance. Evidence located at the scene suggested that the subject had tampered with equipment, possibly with the intent to commit arson. Additional investigation tied the subject to a previous arson incident at the same location. The suspect was also in possession of burglary tools. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

200-blk Bacigalupi
Officers responded to an interrupted residential burglary. The homeowner heard noises upon arrival at the home. Entry was made via rear glass door smash. Surveillance was obtained and follow-up is being conducted.
3/10/2016 0905 hours
16900-blk Farley Rd
Officers responded to a prior residential burglary. The homeowner saw a male subject in the residence and observed another two subjects climbing through a window. There was an hour and twenty minute delay in calling the police department due to the homeowner calling a friend to help secure the home and replace the window screen. Surveillance was obtained and follow-up is being conducted.

Officers responded to a theft at a business. Two subjects entered the store, removed merchandise, and exited.

Winchester/Newell
Arrest: 23 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of illegal weapon, possession of controlled substance, warrants
Officers conducted an enforcement stop and determined the driver to have active warrants and on active, searchable probation. A search yielded methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and various pieces of equipment issued solely to law enforcement officers (including body armor, a diamond wood baton, handcuffs, quick-clot bandages, and other items). Follow-up is being conducted.

Arrest: 27 year old male, resident of West Virginia
Charges: Soliciting without a permit
Officers responded to a report of a solicitor. The subject was cited and released, and his materials were confiscated.

100-blk Kensington
Officers responded to a residential burglary. Entry was made by breaking a rear window.

100-blk Foresthill
Arrest: 28 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Burglary
Officers responded to an in-progress residential burglary. The reporting party observed the subject approach the front door, retreat, and then jump the fence into the backyard. He continued to report on the suspect as responding officers arrived in the area. Detectives in unmarked vehicles observed the suspect getting into his vehicle and conducted and enforcement stop. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail. Follow-up is being conducted.

15500-blk Los Gatos Boulevard
Arrest: 29 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: DUI
Officers observed a vehicle stopped in the number 2 lane of Los Gatos Boulevard. After some time and effort, officers were able to wake the driver. After regaining consciousness, he released the brake and continued on Los Gatos Boulevard before yielding. The driver exhibited the objective signs of intoxication and was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

400-blk Alberto
Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The owner returned to the parking lot in his girlfriend’s vehicle and passed his own vehicle as it was driven out of the complex. He attempted to follow the vehicle, but lost visual on southbound Highway 17. LGPD was notified once the reporting party was on his way back into Town.

15400-blk Los Gatos Boulevard
Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. At approximately 1916 hours, the owner cancelled the report after realizing that a relative had borrowed the vehicle.

18000-blk Daves Ave.
Officers responded to a residential burglary. The suspect had forced open a rear door to the residence. Surveillance was obtained. Follow-up is being conducted.
