Fatal Traffic Collision 
On March 22, 2016 at about 5:23 am the Upland Police Department received a call of a traffic collision on Mountain Ave. north of 7th St. When officers responded they found a 62 year old female pedestrian deceased. She was walking east across Mountain Ave. north of 7th St. when she was struck by a vehicle driving northbound on Mountain Ave. The driver of the vehicle stopped and waited for police to arrive. There is no indication of alcohol or drugs being involved. The investigation is ongoing.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
